Common Area Maintenance Services, Inc. dba CAM Services is a property services contractor serving the commercial real estate industry since 1987. Headquartered in Culver City, we operate branch offices in Fontana, Fresno, Orange, Oxnard and San Diego. We opened CAM Construction to specialize in Tenant Improvements, ADA Compliance and Retrofit, Asphalt Maintenance and Repair, Restoration Services and General Repairs for commercial real estate.

Our clientele includes Property Managers, Developers and Owners of shopping centers, retail chains, office buildings, industrial parks and HOA’s, municipalities, state and federal agencies, and BIDs (Business Improvement Districts).

The Candidate
We are seeking an experienced business development professional with proven success selling, estimating and project managing Tenant Improvement projects and who can quickly leverage their industry contacts to penetrate and build our market position in the markets we serve by locating, developing, negotiating, and closing business relationships. · Profit & Loss management

Additional Skills/Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of commercial/B2B sales experience in a related field. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, consultants, building management and owners. A strong construction aptitude along with the demonstration of excellent customer service, project management and sales lead generation skills is essential. Strong written and oral communication skills and MS Office computer skills is necessary. Must be highly self-motivated with excellent time management skills.

Primary responsibilities include estimating and preparing bid proposals for new projects; developing budgets and schedules; reading and understanding job plans and specifications; making bid presentations to directors and owners; and Project Management, which includes managing timelines, job costing and quality control. This position also conducts educational meetings with contractors and architects, business review meetings and collaborates with other service lines. CAM Construction’s target projects range from $50,000 – $500,000 per project.
