100 Tenants in 60ish Minutes Event Recap
It was standing room only as over 250 attendees packed the Grand Ballroom at the Grand Events Center in Long Beach this past Tuesday, April 11th, for what proved to be ACRE’s most well-attended 60 Tenants in 60 Minutes in the history of the event! This was due in part to the event’s extended parameters, re-dubbed this year as 100 Tenants in 60ish Minutes. The outing featured 17 of Southern California’s top tenant rep brokers, showcasing 100+ of the region’s most active retail tenants.
This large-scale event was expertly coordinated by veteran ACRE board members, Chris Gentzkow, Gentz Commercial; Ben Terry, Coreland Companies; Jaryd Meenach, NewMark Merrill; and Tom Carpenter, Frontier Real Estate Investments; and the proceedings were moderated by Chris Gentzkow.
Presenting tenant rep brokers were given 3 ½ minutes each to summarize their cooperating tenants’ needs. Presenters included Matt Hammond, Coreland Companies; Charlie Cangelosi, Irish Commercial Brokerage; Jon Radus, Edge Realty Partners; Sam Yourman, Epsteen & Associates; John Romm, Commercial West Brokerage; Garrett Colburn, SRS Real Estate Partners; Vanessa Brown, Newmark Grub Knight Frank; Derek Fitch, CBRE; Catherine Morris; William Morris Real Estate, Justin McMahon, CBRE; Anthony Mansour, The Clover Company; Chris Kehl, SRS Real State Partners; Ryan Sullivan, Western Retail Advisors; Chris Hodgman, Retail Insite; Jared Davis, Present Value Properties; Alyssa Joyce; and Jesse Paster, NAI Capital.
The 100+ tenants showcased are too many to mention here, but included a wide variety of new and expanding quick serve and fast food restaurants, café, bakery, frozen yogurt and other related food users, as well as off-price clothing and dry goods sellers, and even several traditional retailers.
ACRE is beyond pleased with event’s clearly resounding success, and is likely to repeat the expanded 100 tenant format in future years. In addition, ACRE’s looking forward to its next event, “Developers + Tenants Working Together to Achieve a Common Goal,” scheduled for June 13th, at the Grand Events Center in Long Beach.
